- Most clients are eligible for reduced Schwab commission rates by completing the three steps shown below (all three must be completed to qualify for reduced rates).
- Reduce the amount of mail from Schwab.
- Ability to track your account via the Internet with updated balances, history, PDF statements, confirms, etc. These features make tax time much more pleasant.
Three Steps To Possibly Qualify For Reduced Schwab Commissions:
- Sign up for Internet access to your account(s).
- Activate eStatements via the Internet.
- Activate eConfirms via the Internet.
STEP 1: Sign Up For Internet Access With Schwab Institutional:
Call the Schwab Alliance Service Team at 800.515.2157 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST. A representative can activate your access to www.schwaballiance.com.
STEPS 2 & 3: Activate both eStatements and eConfirms:
Once you have established Internet access to your account (see above), you have two more steps in order to possibly qualify for reduced commission rates from Schwab.
